Full Moon in Pisces - Soul Remembrance 🐋

Sometimes we forget why we are here... and when we have moments that remind us they can be quite powerful and healing for the soul. As I write this, I am sitting at Einstein Bros Bagels (Einstein was a Pisces and his Sun was conjunct this Full Moon!) and I am overhearing a woman of considerable age tell another older woman how she is looking for a hypnotist so she can unearth some past life energy that is blocking her. If this isn’t a Pisces Full Moon conversation, I don’t know what is... yet, essentially she is searching for that soul remembrance. Whether it is to help us remove energetic blocks that are in our way from living our best life or to remind us of why we are here and what our Spirit agreed to experience, the soul is speaking at this time.

Pisces, ultimately, holds the energy of sacrifice and letting go... a tipping of the cup when it has become too full so we can make room and redistribute our emotional energy. Pisces helps to guide us from behind the veil, as we pair our outer impressions with an inner knowing that provides the right time and place for soul experience. Signs are everywhere, and that is the magic of Pisces. It's more about receptivity or the ability to observe without judgment and just take in what the emotions sense, and sometimes that can be overwhelming when we are feeling heavily into the situation of another person or the world at large. We are tested with our ability to be of help, to participate in self-sacrifice and to allow the process of life to unfold without our rigid agenda.

Exact on Friday, September 13th at 9:33pm PDT - this lunation has us feeling into the emotional shifts that are taking place as we remember why the soul needs what it needs or wants what it wants. We are reminded of our soul contracts, the karmic ties we hold, and where we need to evolve and transcend prior experience. There may be times of discomfort and potential overwhelm, but it's necessary to move things along and honor the journey of the soul by surrendering to the steps that are required ahead.

The Aspects - Surrender To The Process 🌈

Below is a chart of our Full Moon at the time of conjunction here in San Diego, CA. We see that there is a tug-of-war between Pisces and Virgo energy as the Moon and Neptune look over at Mars and the Sun. Venus and Mercury sit in conjunction to start a new chapter of their saga, Jupiter pushes us along in Sagittarius, and Saturn and Pluto have a mission to make these changes real. So let's not waste any time and dive right in...

First up is our FM ruler, Jupiter in Sagittarius, who is making a mutable T-square to the Sun and Moon opposition in Virgo and Pisces respectively. We are being moved along considerably, yet there is likely to be challenge within this activation of forward momentum as our personal beliefs and life philosophies will be confronted by our outer realities. All my not flow, but the stimulus is there for considerable change.

My personal mantra for this Full Moon is, "Surrender, accept, and float downstream" because sometimes that is all you can do to move forward. Not all growth is about pushing... in fact, most growth is about release, and that may be a key factor in this year’s Jupiter / Neptune square that has been coloring 2019. As we approach the last pass of these two gas giants, which perfects during this lunar cycle on Sept 21st, we come to a final activating crossroads that pits us against our ability to move on and experience new things in life while also taking into consideration what the soul desires in the first place. This can be confusing, and at times there may be plenty of uncertainty that looms in the dark, but I feel as if most of us have received those appropriately timed “soul pings” that have given us enough to go on in order to make progress... all that is left is the confidence to say yes and act on the soul’s directive, with the acceptance that it may not all be figured out but that doesn’t mean we can’t believe in and align with our mission.

Now Saturn and Pluto are both sending energy of support from Capricorn as they desire fresh starts in our material world and are giving us the wherewithal to handle whatever is before us and quite possibly out of necessity. Saturn is currently about to station in the sky to regain forward motion, and there is extra energy around what we would like to solidify for the longterm and what our grand plan is looking like. New responsibilities may be asked of us as we move forward, and our life may need a new blueprint sketched up, yet because we have had time to internalize that process we may be more accepting to the new routines that are needing our commitment. The Sun / Pluto trine lights up what needs ultimate purification and we will have to rise to that call.

Venus and Mercury are also meeting in a new cycle at the tail end of Virgo, while Mars sits in exact opposition to Neptune, creating two transition points as our attraction energy adds in new magic to the perception of our desires. The action energy of Mars is softened by the Neptune energy, reminding us that not all movement is going to be perfect and effortless, and sometimes we may not even really know why we are driven to do what we do, but what we do know is that something needs to shift and it's time to finish up old cycles, routines and patterns that have run their course. Make some cuts in some areas, and get creative in others, just be sure that integrity and spiritual directive are at the forefront for whatever decisions and/or actions you take.

The Symbol - Spiritual Quickening 🕊

If you are a previous reader of my astroblog, you know I like to look at the Sabian Symbol of the lunation as it adds another bit of depth to the story that we are telling. As always, we take the degree and minutes and round up. Here we have the following:

Here we see another symbol that is reminiscent of “a new way of being” that is coming down from on high to help provide revelation. This speaks highly to the Jupiter / Neptune square with Saturn stationing and set to make his last sextile with Neptune in the early part of November. As we are headed slowly but surely to January’s Saturn / Pluto conjunction, new laws, policies and procedures for our life will need to be underway now that we have this new spiritual knowing that has creeped in from above.

This is not the time to try to take the easy way out or to ignore the responsive and committed action that is needed of you. Be honest and truthful with yourself and make sure that whatever ends you are involved in justify the means. Keep an ear out for Spirit and listen for the message that this "Higher Authority" has for you! It's time to transcend the old, transform the now, and hold faith and belief in what lies ahead... for the soul is now ready to quicken.
