This week - October 8th - we start out with a New Moon in Libra that kicks off a week of surprise, breakthrough, and the potential for events that elicit change to present themselves in our lives. Our willingness to accept the transitions going down will be the biggest test of the week, as Mercury brings the unexpected by way of message and feminine Venus RX meets masculine Mars with cross purposes, for which we will likely see some worldly events mid-week that continue the story line that has recently been so prevalent in our society. Our bi-annual Sun square to the underworld lord Pluto, also creates week-long scenarios that illuminate what needs to morph and transform, giving us the impetus to take the reins of our lives and head down the next leg of our journey. 🐴

I’m so excited to welcome San Diego musician, artist, and Planned Parenthood warrior-ess, Shelby Wentz, for a discussion on “Embracing the Taboo“ - for which I actually retitled after the chat! Sometimes just morph in different ways as we well know. Hear us chat about a myriad of different topics that fit into the taboo end of the spectrum and which can relate to the Venus / Mars and Sun / Pluto square dynamics that are happening this week. Shelby shares with us what it’s like being behind the scenes at one of the most controversial health organizations; providing a look into breakthroughs in HIV prevention and transgender care services, along with how reproductive health care in general is changing. We both share our thoughts on the woman’s uprising and the overall gender tension in the air, and how a woman’s experience differs from a man’s. She also shares her story about recently coming out as bi-sexual and what that process looked like for her!
